Lee County secures key FEMA rating 

Amid ongoing recovery and mitigation efforts following natural disasters, Lee County has recently received an important update from the Federal Emergency Management Agency concerning their flood insurance standing and community rating system classification.

The Lee Board of County Commissioners voted Tuesday to accept more than $407,000 from the Florida Department of Children and Families for housing and services for people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.
