Salary Range: $57,324.80 - $85,966.40 Annually
Starting Salary: $57,324.80 - $71,645 Annually
The City of Largo is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the Operational Manager for the newly formed Code Enforcement Division. Proactive planning for future service to our citizens resulted in approval of a new Code Enforcement Division in the Community Development Department with a focus of code compliance and neighborhood improvement.
The new Division, formerly part of the Building Division, will have 7 full time employees consisting of the Manager, a Chief Code officer, four Code Officers, and two Board Support Specialists.
We are currently conducting a job search for a manager skilled in leadership and supervisory best practices to assume the role of Code Enforcement Manager! This is an opportunity for a seasoned professional who is committed to customer service and community collaboration to formulate and lead the work program of this new division. The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of building, minimum housing, and land development codes and a demonstrated capability to navigate complex issues and seek solutions consist with the City's strategic plan goals for sustainability, public health and safety, and community pride.
