Under the direction of the Human Resources Director, this position is responsible for the management, oversight of several functional areas of the employer-employee relationship in the workplace, including, but not limited to: Employee/Labor Relations, Recruitment and Selection, Equal Opportunity and Diversity, Internal Administrative Investigations, Leave Management, Performance Management, Compliance (EEO, ADA, FLSA, USERRA, GINA, HIPAA etc.) and Training and Development. 


This position is also responsible for coordination and implementation of the County’s Civil Rights and Title II of the ADA programs.  Tact and diplomacy are essential as the employee will have considerable contact with County administration, Board of County Commissioner, Constitutional Offices, employees, vendors and citizens.
