The Okeechobee County Board of County Commissioners Office is seeking applicants for the position of County Attorney.   The County Attorney would be responsible in providing legal services to the Board of County Commission, as well as County Departments, County Staff, other Boards and Agencies as required.  Qualified applicants must have at a minimum a Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school, be a member in good standing with the Florida Bar, with at least 10 years’ experience as a practicing attorney in legal research and trial work, with at least 5 years in a government law.
