Few things demand invention and ingenuity like a disaster. On October 10, 2018, Category 5 Hurricane Michael roared into the Florida Panhandle. Impacting urban and rural communities unlike anything experienced before, the devastating storm left thousands of citizens homeless and cost billions of dollars in property damage and agricultural losses.

Join us in Bay County on September 25, 2019 for an ‘on-the-ground’ look at disaster response and recovery to get a clear picture of just what happened in the aftermath of October 10th.  In addition, you will have the opportunity to visit some of the hardest hit areas and learn of the ingenuity local governments used to help citizens survive and begin the rebuilding process.
