SCTAS Alternative Revenue Workshops and Lunch Coversation

The SCTAS Program announces an upcoming workshop to discuss local Alternative Revenue Options specifically available for small counties. The programs will focus primarily on impact fees, special assessments, user fees, and other locally available non-ad valorem revenue sources. In addition, join Sarah Bleakley, FAC Special Counsel and Chris Doolin of the 'Small County Coalition' for lunch and conversation about property tax reform and budget cuts immediately preceding the workshop. There is no cost for the workshops. The firms of Government Services Group and Nabors, Giblin & Nickerson, P.A. will conduct the workshop at the following locations:

October 15 - Hardee County Commission Chambers, Courthouse Annex

Time: Noon-2:30 pm (EST): Small county budget/tax reform roundtable. A complimentary working lunch will be provided. 2:30 pm - 5 pm (EST): Alternative revenue workshop will commence immediately following the small county budget/tax reform roundtable.
