CLAY COUNTY ASSISTANT COUNTY ATTORNEY: The County Attorney’s Office for the Board of County Commissioners of Clay County, Florida, seeks an in-house attorney to handle procurement matters for the County including preparation of bids, proposals and qualifications documents, procurement regulations, and contract drafting, contract negotiations and disputes, including contract related claims, and contested contract awards. The ideal candidate will possess advanced and well-developed skills and knowledge regarding the public procurement process in Florida as it relates to local government. Minimum qualifications include admission to, and good standing with, the Florida Bar, and 3 years demonstrated experience in procurement, contracts, and local government. Part-time employment may be considered as an option. Salary will depend on qualifications.
