The FAC 2010 Legislative Day will be held Wednesday, March 24, at the FSU Turnbull Conference Center in Leon County. This event is an excellent opportunity for you to obtain up-to-date information on legislative issues affecting counties. Meet with members of your legislative delegation to discuss FAC’s legislative priorities and specific concerns from your area.

Unless otherwise noted, events will be held at the FSU Turnbull Conference Center, 555 W. Pensacola Street. The CCC Workshops, Annual Conference Committee and FCF Board Meetings will be held at the Leon County Tourist Development Council (TDC), 106 E. Jefferson Street.

CCC WORKSHOPS in conjunction with Legislative Day
Commissioners and County Staff encouraged to attend
This year’s Legislative Day offers an incredible opportunity to earn up to 13.5 hours of credit toward the County Commissioner Certification Program. By simply attending Legislative Day, you will earn 1.5 hours of continuing education credit. On Thursday and Friday, two core CCC Classes, Ethics and Growth Management, will be held at the Leon County Tourist Development Council (TDC) located at 106 E. Jefferson Street in Tallahassee. Each course is worth 6 hours of core credit. The Ethics course is mandatory to complete the CCC Certification.
