We are pleased to announce the Florida Association of Counties’ new portal and online community! As part of this new community, you can register for our upcoming events including FAC’s 2015 Annual Conference. We invite you to come visit, navigate around and log-in for the first time to review your online profile at http://fl-counties.site-ym.com/login.aspx.
Once you follow the link above, you will be at the log-in screen. Log-in credentials were sent via email on Monday, April 6. If you did not receive an email, please contact Kelli Williams, Becky Berentsen, or Connie Osborn.
Once log-in is complete, please review and edit your profile, if necessary. Once that is complete, click on the “Events” tab in the top right-hand corner and scroll down through the list of events to the 2015 FAC Annual Conference. Click on the “Register” icon which will take you to the Registration screen. Since you are logged in, your information should populate the fields and you can make your registration choices. We hope that you find this process to be more efficient and user friendly. We are excited to be launching this new system and will be launching additional features in the coming months that you will find beneficial.
Single Day registrations (for Wednesday and Thursday) are available to Commissioners and County Staff ONLY. However, you cannot purchase a Single Day online. If paying with a credit card, contact Connie Osborn at the FAC Office at email@example.com or (850) 922-4300. If paying with a check, print the registration form below.
The 2015 FAC Annual Conference and Educational Exposition will be held June 16-19, 2015, at the Sawgrass Marriott in St. Johns County. The theme for this year is “Diversity Brings Us Together” and we have a fantastic program planned. FAC has a new hotel room booking process, in which hotel housing information will be sent to registrants AFTER we have received your PAID registration for the FAC Conference. So you will want to go ahead and get registered today to get the discounted conference registration rate and to secure a hotel room at the host hotel.
In addition to the conference, we also have a separate, pre-conference workshop on Ethics, Sunshine Law and Public Records. This course meets the requirements set forth by the Florida legislature in 2013 that all Commissioners and other Constitutional Officers take four hours of Ethics programming each calendar year. This program has a separate registration fee. Click here to visit the new portal and register online.
