The St. Johns River Water Management District has completed its DRAFT Water Supply Plan (WSP) and has made it available to local governments and other stakeholders.  The intent of the Water Supply Plan is to ensure that water supplies are available to meet future needs while maintaining a focus on environmental protection.   The Plan analyzes water demand, withdrawal limits and sustainability issues throughout the District, and includes information from the Central Florida Water Initiative and the North Florida Regional Water Supply Partnership.   The District has scheduled public meetings and technical workshops with staff in attendance to answer questions and receive input.  These meetings will commence on January 23, 2014.
